How to Use BowMaths

A quick guide to managing your archery competitions.

Step 1: Build Your Archer Database

Before running a competition, it's best to add your competitors to the master database. This saves you time later.

Navigate to the Archers Page

Click on the "Archers" link in the main navigation at the top of the page.

Add Your Competitors

Click the "Add New Archer" button. A form will appear where you can enter the archer's name, bow type, gender, age group, and disability status. Save the archer to add them to your master list.

Manage Your List

You can edit or delete archers from this master list at any time using the action buttons next to each name.

Step 2: Run a Competition

Once your database is set up, you can easily run a new competition.

Navigate to the Competition Page

Click on the "Competition" link in the main navigation.

Add Archers to the Event

You have two options: either add archers manually using the form, or click "Import from Database" to select competitors from your master list. This is the fastest way to get started.

Enter Scores

In the "Add New Archer" form, you can enter scores for each round. Add as many score fields as you need for the competition.

Calculate Rankings

Once all scores are entered, click the "Calculate All Rankings" button. The leaderboard on the right will update to show the top archers in each category.
